Arnold Simpson is a widely-respected member of the Democratic majority in Kentucky’s House of Representatives, and is Vice Chairman of the House Appropriation and Revenue Committee. He also serves on the Licensing & Occupations, Program Review & Investigation, Local Government, Transportation, Rules and Banking & Insurance Committees.

Arnold is a proud graduate of Holmes High School. He received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Kentucky State University, law degree from the University of Kentucky, and served as Covington’s City Manager for three years.

Arnold and his wife Jo Ann celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary this year. They have three children, Jason and twin daughters, Sydney and Amanda, and live in Covington’s Old Seminary Square in a home that they restored themselves.
